"He replied, 'Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'" - The Bible (NIV) Matthew 17:20

Reminds me of the debt we amass and the struggles we go trough to obtain the education that allows us to saddle ourselves with the yoke of the system most of us are locked into. There is so much beauty around us if we could stop and look. However, most of the time we stay slave to the system and even if we can see the beauty it is usually out of our reach to be able to truly enjoy it.

One can move mountains when one learns to rest one day each week. Rest means to completely cease from all monetary transactions (Stop buying groceries and things!), to stop gossiping about those around you (Be quiet for heavens sake!), to stop traveling to places outside the city in which you live (Put a damper on your travel!), and to stay away from public events such as live concerts (Rest your ears as well!). Once you get needed time for rest and reflection, you will find it easy to move as many mountains as you desire --- if that is what you want in life.

Full quote: “I leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain. One always finds one's burden again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that night-filled mountain, in itself, forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy.” ― Albert Camus

Big goals, like completing a dissertation, can seem like you're rolling a boulder up a steep mountain. But, the harder your push, the more the rock will keep a steady pace - until the next thing you know, you have rolled it all the way to the top of the mountain's peak and it falls down the other side, indicating that you have done what you needed to do.
